Terms of Service
Last updated: October 12, 2026
Effective date: October 1, 2026
Welcome to FYI Link. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Amenity8 LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("FYI Link", "we", "us", "our"). They cover fyilink.com, app.fyilink.com, the branded referral pages we host for Businesses, the personal links we host for Referrers, and every related feature, email, and service we provide (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, submitting a form, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy at fyilink.com/privacy, which forms part of these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms on its behalf, and "you" includes that organization.
1. Definitions
- "Business" means a company that subscribes to FYI Link to run its own referral program, including its owner and any Team Members.
- "Territory" means the geographic area a subscription covers. Unless FYI Link management defines it differently in writing, a Territory is one US state, or one Canadian province or territory, based on the Business's location.
- "Team Member" means an additional login that a Business adds to its own account (as an owner, manager, or staff member). A Team Member acts on behalf of the Business and is not a separate role.
- "Referrer" means a person who signs up through a Business's page to recommend that Business to people they know, and who may earn a reward set by that Business.
- "Customer" means a person introduced to a Business through the Service. A Customer does not need an account.
- "Admin" means Amenity8 LLC, which owns and operates the Service.
- "Business Link" means a Business's public page at fyilink.com/{business-name}. "Personal Link" means a Referrer's public page at fyilink.com/{business-name}/{referrer-name}.
- "Offer" means the reward terms a Business publishes on the Service, including the qualifying event, the reward amount, whether the reward is Cash or Credit, any new-customer incentive, and any expiry date.
- "Introduction" means the record created when a Customer's details are submitted to a Business through the Service, whether by the Customer through a Personal Link or by a Referrer through the Quick Intro form.
- "Reward" means the Cash payment or Credit a Business has promised a Referrer under an Offer.
- "Content" means anything you put into the Service, including text, names, logos, images, offer copy, notes, reviews, and messages.
2. What FYI Link is, and what it is not
FYI Link provides referral program infrastructure for home-service, trade, property-management, and other service businesses: a branded Business Link, a Personal Link and QR code for each Referrer, a dashboard to track Introductions from first contact to reward, automated status and thank-you emails, customer review requests, and invitations for satisfied Customers to become Referrers.
FYI Link is a tool. We do not perform, supervise, or guarantee the services any Business sells. We do not vet, license, or verify Businesses, Referrers, or Customers. We are not a party to any Offer, Reward, sale, or service agreement between a Business and a Referrer or Customer. We do not process or hold Reward money. We do not guarantee any number of Introductions, leads, customers, or revenue.
3. Eligibility and the four roles
The Service has exactly four roles: Admin, Business, Referrer, and Customer. The Service is offered to Businesses located in the United States and Canada, and to the Referrers and Customers connected to those Businesses. To create an account or submit a form you must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You must give accurate information and keep it up to date. A Referrer account belongs to one individual and may not be shared or transferred. One person may hold more than one role with the same email address (for example, a Business owner who is also a Referrer for a different Business); each role keeps its own access and its own records.
A Business goes live as soon as its account is created, and may also be set up by Admin on its behalf at its request. We may decline, suspend, or close any account in line with Section 20.
4. Accounts and sign-in security
- Business and Admin accounts sign in with an email address, a password, and a six-digit code sent by email. After a successful sign-in, you may choose to trust a browser for 14 days, which skips the emailed code on that browser only; the password is still checked every time.
- Referrer accounts sign in with an email address and a six-digit code sent by email. No password is required. A Referrer may add an optional password in Account Settings.
- Sign-in codes expire, can be used only once, and are limited in number. Repeated failed attempts may temporarily lock sign-in. We use rate limits and automated bot checks on public forms and sign-in.
- You are responsible for keeping your email account, password, and trusted devices secure, and for all activity under your account. Tell us at once at info@fyilink.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
- A Business is responsible for everything its Team Members do in its account, and for removing a Team Member's access when it should end.
5. Subscription plans and pricing
Referrers and Customers use FYI Link free of charge. Businesses subscribe to one of three plans. Subscriptions are sold per Territory: each subscription covers one Territory, which is one US state, or one Canadian province or territory, unless FYI Link management defines the Territory differently in writing (for example, a metropolitan area, a group of states or provinces, or a national account). A Business that operates in more than one Territory needs a subscription for each Territory unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Standard pricing per Territory is shown below. All prices are in US Dollars (USD), including for Businesses located in Canada.
| Plan | USD / month | USD total for term |
|---|---|---|
| 3-Month Plan | $59 | $177 (3-month minimum) |
| 6-Month Plan | $49 | $294 (6-month minimum) |
| 12-Month Plan (Annual) | $39 | $468 (12-month minimum) |
Every plan includes unlimited Offers, unlimited Referrers, and unlimited Introductions. There are no per-lead fees and FYI Link takes no share of any job value or Reward. Prices exclude any applicable sales, goods and services, harmonized, or similar taxes, which will be added to invoices where required by law.
Pricing, Territories, and plan terms may be negotiated. Any pricing, Territory, or terms agreed with FYI Link management and confirmed in writing (including by email, order, or invoice) apply to that Business in place of the standard pricing above. Territories and standard pricing are set by FYI Link management and may differ between Territories; the price that applies to a Business is the price confirmed for its Territory when it subscribes.
6. Billing, renewal, and cancellation
- Payment. Subscriptions are invoiced by Amenity8 LLC and paid through one or more third-party payment processors and platforms, which may include Stripe, Wise, and QuickBooks. A card is not required to create an account. If you pay by card, your card details are handled by the processor; FYI Link does not see or store full card numbers.
- Billing schedule. Each plan is billed monthly for the full length of its term, and the full term is a minimum commitment. Your term starts on the date your subscription is activated. Each Territory subscription is billed separately unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Automatic renewal. At the end of each term, your subscription automatically renews for a new term of the same length, billed monthly at that plan's then-current rate, unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will email a reminder to your Business contact email about 15 days before each renewal date. If a term ends and the renewal has not been recorded, your Business Link and Offers pause automatically until it is, and no emails are sent to Customers on your behalf while paused.
- Price changes. If a plan's price changes, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before the new price applies to you. The new price applies only from your next renewal, never partway through a term.
- How to cancel. You may cancel at any time by emailing info@fyilink.com from your Business contact email, or by asking us in writing from that address. We will confirm your cancellation by email. Cancellation stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of your current term; your monthly payments for the rest of the current term remain due.
- Refunds. Fees already paid are non-refundable, and we do not pro-rate or refund any unused part of a term, except where the law requires otherwise or as provided in the Guarantee (Section 7).
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, we will notify you and may retry the charge. If payment is still outstanding 14 days after that notice, we may pause your Business Link and Offers until the account is brought up to date.
- Billing questions. If you believe an invoice is wrong, tell us within 60 days of the invoice date at info@fyilink.com so we can review it.
7. The Guarantee
We back the Service with a real number, not a vague promise. If you invite at least the minimum number of your past customers to become Referrers during your plan's term, and no referral is paid out within that term, your next term is free:
- 3-Month Plan: invite a minimum of 30 past customers. No paid referral in 3 months? Your next 3-month term is free.
- 6-Month Plan: invite a minimum of 60 past customers. No paid referral in 6 months? Your next 6-month term is free.
- 12-Month (Annual) Plan: invite a minimum of 90 past customers. No paid referral in 12 months? Your next year is free.
"Invite" means sending a real past or existing customer of your Business your Business Link, or an invitation to become a Referrer, through or alongside the Service, with that person's permission to be contacted. "Paid referral" means an Introduction you mark Paid (for a Cash Offer) or Applied (for a Credit Offer) on your dashboard within the term.
To claim the Guarantee, email info@fyilink.com within 30 days after your term ends, with reasonable confirmation of the invitations you sent (for example, a list of the people invited and the dates). Once confirmed, we will apply a credit equal to one full term of your current plan, at your current rate, to your next term. The Guarantee applies once per subscription (each Territory subscription is considered separately), has no cash value, and does not apply if your account was suspended or closed under these Terms during the term, if any invoice for the term is unpaid, or if the invitations were not sent to genuine past or existing customers.
8. Offers and Rewards
- Businesses set their own Offers. Each Offer carries one flat-dollar Reward, paid either as Cash to the Referrer or as a Credit (for example, a credit against future rent or services). A Business may also offer an optional incentive to the new Customer.
- The Offer terms shown when an Introduction is submitted are the terms that apply to that Introduction, even if the Business later edits, pauses, or ends the Offer.
- A Business is solely responsible for its Offers being accurate, lawful, and honored. A Business must pay or apply every Reward it owes, on the terms it published and within a reasonable time after the qualifying event.
- Cash Rewards are paid directly by the Business to the Referrer, outside the Service, using a payout method the Referrer provides (for example Interac e-Transfer, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, or a manual arrangement). Credit Rewards are applied directly by the Business. FYI Link does not process, hold, transmit, or guarantee any Reward, and takes no fee on Rewards.
- When a Business marks a Reward Paid or Applied, that is the Business's own statement. FYI Link does not verify it. Once marked Paid, the payout method, destination, and the Referrer's name and mailing address as they stood at that moment are permanently locked onto that record, so both sides keep the same record of what was paid and to whom.
- Taxes. Each Referrer is responsible for any taxes owed on Rewards they receive. Each Business is responsible for any tax reporting that applies to Rewards it pays (for example, US Form 1099 reporting where required).
- Any disagreement about whether a Reward is owed, how much, or whether it was paid is between the Business and the Referrer.
9. Introductions, attribution, and questions
- An Introduction is recorded, time-stamped, and attributed to the Referrer whose Personal Link or Quick Intro form was used.
- The Service automatically flags Introductions that may be duplicates (for example, the same Customer email already submitted to that Business) or self-referrals (for example, a Customer whose details match the Referrer's). Flags are for the Business's review; they are not final decisions.
- The Business decides whether an Introduction qualifies under its Offer, and may reassign credit for an Introduction to a different Referrer. Both Referrers are notified when credit is reassigned.
- A Referrer or a Business can raise a question about a specific Introduction through the Service. FYI Link provides the tool for that conversation but does not decide the outcome.
10. Contacting people, and the emails we send
When a Business uses the Service to reach its own past or existing customers, including inviting them to become Referrers, and when a Referrer introduces a Customer on a Business's behalf, the Business is solely responsible for having the right to contact those people and for complying with all applicable communications, marketing, and privacy laws, including the US CAN-SPAM Act and Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
A Referrer who submits another person's details, including through the Quick Intro form, confirms that the person has agreed to be contacted by that Business about its services.
As part of the Service, FYI Link sends emails on a Business's behalf, triggered by actions the Business or a Referrer takes. These include: sign-in codes and account emails; new-Introduction notices to the Business and the Referrer; status updates to the Referrer (for example, qualified, declined, reward approved, payment issue, paid, credit reassigned, and questions); one thank-you email to a Customer (when the Business marks a job completed, or when the Business adds a past or existing customer), and at most one reminder about seven days later. The thank-you email links to a private page where the Customer may, if they wish, share a testimonial, leave a review, open the Business's Google or Facebook review page, or become a Referrer. All of these are optional, and Rewards are never tied to reviews or testimonials.
A testimonial is saved only when the Customer gives permission for the Business to use their words. It shows the Customer's first name, and their city only if they choose. FYI Link records which review buttons on that page were clicked, so the Business can see that a review was started; we do not see or control what is posted on Google or Facebook.
Emails sent on a Business's behalf identify the Business and FYI Link and include a way to contact us. A Customer can stop further emails from a Business with one click, using the unsubscribe link in each email. Anyone may ask to stop receiving non-essential emails by emailing info@fyilink.com, and we will act on that request within 10 business days. Emails that are necessary to operate an account (such as sign-in codes) will continue while the account is open. FYI Link does not send SMS or text messages. If that changes, these Terms and our Privacy Policy will be updated first, and separate consent will be obtained before any text message is sent.
11. Referrer responsibilities
- Only submit Introductions for real people who have agreed to be contacted by the Business.
- Do not fabricate, buy, scrape, recycle, or mass-submit leads, and do not send unsolicited bulk messages containing your Personal Link.
- Do not misrepresent a Business, its services, its Offer, or its Reward terms, and do not make promises on a Business's behalf.
- When you share your Personal Link publicly (for example, in a social media post), make it clear that you may receive a reward from the Business if someone you recommend becomes a customer. Your Personal Link page shows the Offer so the people you share it with can see this.
- Do not submit yourself, your own household, or another account you control as a Customer to earn a Reward, unless the Business's Offer expressly allows it.
- Keep your contact and payout details accurate so a Business can pay you. You may pause or leave any Business's program at any time from your dashboard.
12. Business responsibilities
- Be accurate and truthful about your Business, services, Offers, and Reward terms, and keep your Business Profile up to date.
- Hold any licenses, registrations, and insurance your work requires, and perform your services lawfully. You are solely responsible for the work you do for Customers.
- Contact Referrers and Customers only for legitimate purposes connected to the Introduction and your services, and handle their information lawfully, securely, and respectfully, as an independent controller of that information.
- Pay or apply every Reward you owe, on the terms and timeline you published, and mark it Paid or Applied only when that is true.
- Do not create fake Referrers, Introductions, reviews, or Rewards, and do not pressure Customers about reviews.
- Only upload logos, images, and text you have the right to use, and do not include another person's personal information in public Content without their permission.
13. Public pages, links, and what others can see
- A Business Link is public. It shows the Business name, logo (if the Business chooses to show it), service areas, live Offers, and ways to become a Referrer or introduce someone.
- A Personal Link is public. It shows the Business information above, the Referrer's name as shown on the link, and, if the Referrer chooses, a short note about what they plan to do with their rewards.
- When a Business Link or Personal Link is shared on social media, messaging apps, or by text, those platforms display a preview using the image and description the Business has set for that kind of link, or a standard FYI Link image if none has been set.
- Business and Referrer link names are chosen instantly, without approval, but must not be misleading, offensive, or infringe anyone else's rights. We may change or reclaim a link name that breaks these Terms. When a link name is changed, the old link redirects to the new one.
- QR codes, posters, and share tools generated by the Service may be used to promote your own Business Link or Personal Link.
14. Your Content
You keep ownership of your Content. You grant FYI Link a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display, format (for example, resizing and cropping images), and transmit your Content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service, including displaying public Content on Business Links, Personal Links, and link previews. This license ends when your Content is deleted from the Service, except for copies we are required or permitted to keep under Section 17 and our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the rights needed to grant this license and that your Content does not break the law or anyone's rights.
Customer reviews submitted through the Service are shared privately with the Business being reviewed. If you send us suggestions or feedback about the Service, we may use them freely without any obligation to you.
15. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and the FYI Link name and logo, belongs to Amenity8 LLC and its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. You may not copy, modify, resell, or create derivative works from the Service, or use the FYI Link name or logo except to identify your own FYI Link pages.
16. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- break any law or regulation, or help anyone else do so;
- send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or contact anyone who has not agreed to be contacted;
- upload anything false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing, or that infringes anyone's rights;
- impersonate any person or business, or misrepresent your connection to a Business;
- probe, scan, test, or breach the Service's security, access accounts or data that are not yours, or bypass sign-in, rate limits, or bot checks;
- copy, scrape, or harvest data from the Service by automated means, or reverse engineer or decompile any part of it;
- upload malware or interfere with the Service's operation or other people's use of it; or
- use the Service for any business that is illegal where it operates.
17. Account data: export and deletion
A Referrer can download a copy of their own account data at any time from Account Settings. The download includes their profile, address, the Businesses they are enrolled with, their payout methods, and a summary of the Introductions they have made (the Business name, the Customer's first name, and the Introduction's status). It never includes another person's full contact details.
A Referrer can request deletion of their account from Account Settings. This immediately deactivates the account and starts a 14-day window in which the request can be cancelled and the account fully restored. When the window ends, the Referrer's name, phone number, and address are permanently removed from their profile and their email is replaced with a non-working placeholder, so it can no longer be used to sign in. Introduction records are kept for the Businesses' accounting, tax, and compliance purposes, and any record already marked Paid keeps the name and mailing address that were locked onto it at the time of payment (see Section 8).
A Business may ask us to export or delete its account data by emailing info@fyilink.com from its Business contact email. Retention periods are set out in our Privacy Policy.
18. Third-party services
The Service relies on, and may link to, services run by others, including payment processors, email delivery, hosting and security providers, social media and messaging platforms that display link previews, and review sites such as Google and Facebook. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and FYI Link is not responsible for them.
19. Availability, support, and changes to the Service
We work to keep the Service available and secure, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time, and it may be unavailable during maintenance. Support is provided by email at info@fyilink.com. We may add, change, or remove features. If a change materially reduces the Service for Businesses during a paid term, we will give reasonable notice by email.
20. Suspension and termination
- You may stop using the Service at any time. A Business ends its subscription by cancelling under Section 6. A Referrer may leave a Business's program or delete their account at any time.
- We may suspend or close an account, pause a Business Link or Personal Link, or remove Content if we reasonably believe it breaks these Terms or the law, puts other people, our providers, or the Service at risk, or if a Business's payment remains outstanding under Section 6. Where it is reasonable and lawful, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem first.
- When a Business account ends, its Business Link, Offers, and its Referrers' Personal Links for that Business stop accepting new Introductions. Data is then kept or deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Sections that by their nature should continue after termination will continue, including payment obligations already incurred, Sections 8, 14, 15, and 21 through 25.
21. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, FYI Link disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. FYI Link makes no promise about the quality, safety, legality, licensing, or performance of any Business or its work, the accuracy of anything a Business, Referrer, or Customer submits, or whether any Reward will be paid.
22. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FYI Link, Amenity8 LLC, and their owners, officers, employees, and providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility. FYI Link's total liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the fees you paid FYI Link in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US $100 if you paid no fees. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
23. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FYI Link, Amenity8 LLC, and their owners, officers, employees, and providers from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your Content, your Offers or Rewards, your work for Customers, your communications with any person (including any claim that they broke TCPA, CASL, CAN-SPAM, or another communications or privacy law), or your breach of these Terms or the law.
24. Disputes and governing law
- Talk to us first. Before starting any formal claim, contact us at info@fyilink.com with a description of the issue. We will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days.
- Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
- Where disputes are heard. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be heard in the state or federal courts serving Laramie County, Wyoming, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. This does not remove any right you have under the mandatory consumer or privacy laws of your home state, province, or country.
- Individual claims. To the extent permitted by law, claims may be brought only on an individual basis and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative proceeding.
- Time limit. To the extent permitted by law, any claim relating to the Service must be brought within one year after it arises.
25. General terms
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any order or invoice we issue to a Business, are the entire agreement between you and FYI Link about the Service.
- Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect, and the unenforceable part will be enforced to the greatest extent allowed.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, or to an affiliate.
- Events beyond control. Neither party is responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as outages of internet, hosting, or email providers, natural disasters, or acts of government.
- Electronic communications and notices. You agree that we may send agreements, notices, invoices, and other communications electronically, to the email address on your account, and that these satisfy any requirement that they be in writing. Notices to us must be sent to info@fyilink.com.
- Relationship. You and FYI Link are independent parties. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship. Referrers are not employees or agents of FYI Link or, through FYI Link, of any Business.
- Language. These Terms are written in English. The parties have expressly required that these Terms and all related documents be drawn up in English. Les parties ont expressément exigé que les présentes conditions et tous les documents qui s'y rattachent soient rédigés en anglais.
- Headings are for convenience only and do not affect the meaning of these Terms.
26. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email to Businesses and by a notice on the Service before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to an update, you may stop using the Service and, for a Business, cancel before your next renewal.
27. Contact
